The Career Pathways Department is dedicated to helping students develop self-awareness, explore opportunities, and begin their next steps beyond school. Students are encouraged to investigate different pathways, make wise decisions, and confidently move forward. The Careers Team are available to both students and their whānau.

Students study with a tertiary provider (usually Toi Ohomai) one day per week during Terms 1-3. Examples of possible courses include:
This course allows students to explore a specific career that is of interest to them via a work experience placement in the community. Students also learn about this career in class time, as well as foundational employability skills. This is a full year course and a timetabled school subject. Some examples of careers students may choose to learn about include:
